The CS 1 has a powerful motor enabling the suction system to process high volumes of fluid for hours at a time. The two-stage separator effectively prevents blood foam from being carried along during aspiration, thus protecting the dry suction machine connected at the back.

Cleaning and disinfecting the suction unit
- After every patien treacment the equivalent of one glass of cold water should be sucked though the system, i.e. throught both the large and the smaller suction hoses - even when, during treatment, only the saliva extractor has beeb used.
- Before any midday break and at the end of the working day the suction unit should be cleaned and disinfected by suction of a noaggressive, non-foaming cleaning and desinfectant agent (e. g. Orotol Plus).
